Nice place for a day outing.. grills and shelters are well maintained.. River is very nice for kids and adults to enjoy.. Not many parking spots.. Parking is only concern..
Always a beautiful place for a break, but staying for the flute playing and storytelling when they have a bonfire is just magical.
I wish I had taken pics! Coming from a very outdoorsy family that travels, this is by far the most beautiful public park we've ever seen.

Great place to walk enjoy The View have a picnic and they have bonfires on on Friday and Saturday night at 7 p.m.
There are also tables/pavilions with grills, making it perfect for parties or just a day on the river.
There is plenty of green space to play on, as well as a wide, shallow, and clear river THAT YOU CAN SWIM AND TUBE IN FOR FREE (as long as you bring your own, if not you can rent them near by.) The current is strong enough to float in tubes, but gentle enough for my small children.
