Clean, modern. Staff was nice and helpful. We loved the pool.
Very nice place. Only problem we had was housekeeping came into our room even though we placed our Do not disturb sign outside our door. The front desk didn't offer anything other than an apology. We stayed 2 nights, and planned on a cpl more. Considering the situation. We decided to stay somewhere else. I was fuming. We go to Cherokee, for the casino. So not feeling that our belongs where safe while we aren't at the room makes a huge difference for us. The pool was closed as well. Overall not a bad room. Pretty clean n very updated.
I have stayed at this hotel several times and had great experiences until this last time. I stayed in room 500 which is right next to the street. I could hear cars through the air conditioner and it was raining which made it worse the hotel was full so I didn't complain that night because there was no room to move to. During check out I was asked how my stay was and I mentioned my problem. I left my contact info for the manager. I went back and fourth several times with management to find out that nothing would be done about the issue. Great customers aren't so valued. I'm sure they could care less about my complaint since the rooms are always booked.
Only problem : the view. We got a room in the mean building, in the opposite side of the street. View of a wall of rock and grass. At least it was quiet ;)
Older hotel but the rooms were clean and decently sized. There is a shuttle to the casino that leaves every 30 minutes (until midnight) but honestly it is a pretty short walk. The only downside was the fact that the doors seemed paper thin - we were awoken several times by loud groups of people returning from the casino and talking out on the balcony around 3 and 4 in the morning.
You can pay 500 a night to stay in the casino or you can pay 130 a night to be right across the street. Rooms were very clean with the best looking bathroom I have ever seen in a hotel. Customer service was wonderful. Rooms were above average for the price. The hotel is walking distance to save the gas or car ride. Literally a 3 minute walk to get inside and get your gamble on. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone!
