It's not real fancy, but you can get a peaceful night's rest. It's very clean. And the staff is quite friendly, with exception of the chubby girl working in the morning. Not even a smile.
GROSS! we endedicated up getting our money back from the super sweet young lady behind the desk. The first room had popcorn crumbs on top of the bedspread and burn mark all through the bedspread that was obviously dirty and someone just remade a dirty bed so I returned the key and she said I could try another room so I did and there again a nasty unwashed spill on the bedspread and burn holes and hair in the layers of sheets. So this ca used us having to stay in a nearby town and we ended up not going to the casino as planned due to no rooms available in Cherokee for the night, so this hotel ruined that for my vacation. Don't chance it!
We stayed the night before the eclipse. The hotel itself is fine. The room was clean. However, the noise outside between music playing parking lot junkies to drag racing motorcycles kept us up all night. It was sketchy.
Clean rooms. Updated furniture. No problems. Casino right across the street. We walked to and from.
Definitely one of the better Days Inn that I've stayed at. The staff was friendly and helpful. Location is great for traveling to surrounding areas. Free breakfast consisted of waffles, a variety of breads, cereals, juices, and coffees. The room was clean upon arrival. My only complaints about the room would be shower made a "screaming" noise and the bathroom doorknob would lock you in-- talk about creepy. Early check in is $20 extra, but there's lots to do in walking distance if you want to drop off your car. Didn't check out the pool, but there is one available.
