Exactly what you pay for. Another review said if you are a hotel hugger, this one is not for you and I agree. The bad: the room was a little small, the bed was a little hard, the tv was only analog with very few channels and the shower had low pressure. The good: it was quiet, peaceful, in a really good location for visiting shops and the museum, the gentleman at the desk was nice and even called me by name. It's location puts you within walking distance of shops and shows and within about 10 minutes of everything else. If you just want a place to sleep and then head back out for a low cost, it's perfect. If you want amenities or a fancy room, look else where.
Nice, quaint hotel. Simple, with no frills other than Wi-Fi and tv. Friendly staff and comfortable beds. Too far from casino, but that was fine.
This is a very very nice, comfortable, peaceful place. The staff very friendly and accomodating. The location is wonderful. I'm sitting in the rocker provided outside each room's doors; the view of the mist and fog rolling off the mountains is glorios. Though centrally located, with much within short walking distance; the lodge leaves a feel of seclusion, nestled against the mountainside. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
